Midland Air Service Experts was thrilled to volunteer with the Midlands Ride for Kids a few weeks ago. April 2016 is the second year that Midland Air has volunteered for this amazing event that helps fund the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the leading nonprofit supporting research into childhood brain tumors. The raised money funds free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial aid for families.
Midland Air Service Experts gave $1000 to this amazing cause and the nationwide event has collected $559,241.44. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been involved in the event since 2014 and her dad’s riding group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids each year.
“My dad’s riding group gets involved every year because they can have a good time and ride motorcycles, all for this incredible cause.” Check out Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The philanthropic motorcycle club may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts isn’t as into the riding part of the event. “We just do it for the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air looks forward to being involved in their community and helping with great events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To find out more about how you can get involved and support the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, click on their site.
